No surprise - Maddie did great at the dentist. She's just an easy going kid. The office made it a fun event too! Maddie is such a joy to us - loving, easy, laid back, resilient and uncomplicated. We just adore her!

So...her Pearly Whites are good...so now it's off to Paint!

Happy Chinese New Year - Belated

So busy...but we had fun anyway :) As always - Chinese food - noodles - and Maddie in her yearly outfit. She is 100% potty trained as of 2/13/09 - no diapers at night now either. Okay...I'm a little sad. She's becoming a big girl so quickly. We are having so much fun with her. She still whispers to us "you're my favorite". We still haven't seen one temper tantrum...just good natured and loving. And soooo talkative...all about dragons and pricesses. She has Halloween and her Bday all planned all ready. Wow! Didn't we just finish that whirlwind?? Anyway...Happy Year of the Ox!

Happy Valentine's Day Eve

Maddie went to her little Vday party at school to get sugared up. She has so much with heAr buddies. Then it was off for some evil - the last Hep B vaccination - hence the picture with the sucker and a look of relief. She chats up the folks at her doctor's office A LOT...and as long as there are sweets and Bugs Bunny band-aids involved all is well. Then off to a lunch with her beloved Daddy - pasta (her favorite) at The Olive Garden.

Super Bowl Sunday

I'm not a huge football fan - but this is pretty exciting and there is quite the buzz up and down the streets with people selling flags, shirts, etc. Red has been worn daily :) Let's see how they do. I have a small wager with my cousin.

Blogging-wise...I've been swamped with work...but will catch up here hopefull in the future. Maddie grasped the concept of putting letters to make words yesterday - CAT for cat, etc. She's pretty stoked. Her grasp of concepts is pretty amazing.

On a funny side note - EVERYTHING is family to her...Mommy this, Daddy that, etc. She told me yesterday she went poopy...a Mommy poopy, a Daddy poopy and a "little itty bitty baby poopy named Maddie". This she announced loudly in a rather crowded bathroom at restuarant. Ah well...I'll take family minded any day :)
