Some Prayers Please

My Hubby George went in for a stress test about a week ago. They determined he needed further testing so yesterday, he went in and did an angiogram. The procedure itself is no big deal...but the results weren't great. George has to have a quadruple bypass. We're doing okay...but of course nerves are running. In the meantime, he's starting a new job next week, hasn't accrued PTO or EML and then there's the insurance fun. Seriously...the timing isn't ever good...but this is ridiculous. We don't know the date of surgery yet - due to find out 1/18 but will ber soon. Anyway...I'll keep all posted!!

Happy Fall 2009

Make a Smilebox slideshow Maddie had a great time this past fall. Tomachek farms is always a good time with so many activities. We also had fun at a Fall school carnival - so many games and just for being so cute Maddie was given a free cake at the cake walk :) She was thrilled! Thanks Dawn!!

Halloween 2009

Make a Smilebox slideshow I'm so behind on posting!! But...little by little, I'll catch up. Maddie was an Incredible this Halloween. She had so much fun and is really getting into the spirit of it. She's not "into girl things" she reminds us - loves Batman, Spiderman, etc. Zoey - your outfit was right up Maddie's alley! She loved the school party with decorating their own special treat boxes, decorating cookies and the costume parade. For trick-or-treating we joined Lenny and Ryan for some houses and then enjoyed a block party with a jumpy for the kids. Nice night. She has planned to be The Hulk next year - thank Heavens for Little Girls :)

Azul's 6th Bday

Make a Smilebox slideshow Maddie wasn't really thrilled with jumper places...until this party. She stayed in the jumpers the whole time - didn't go on the big ones but started to enjoy falling and knowing she was safe. Happy 6th Birthday to Azul!!

Maddie waxed a bit shy for these pictures - letting me know that the only way she'd smile is if "that lady leaves" pointing to the photographer - who I might add was a bit witchy so I can't blame by daughter at all. So...this is what we got from her :) Serious but beautiful!

Hello!

Make a Smilebox slideshow Hi all...sorry for the absenteeism! It's been busy work-wise for both George and me. Should calm down by 12/13/09 - just in time for holiday fun. We've also been attending birthdays...lots of birthdays - there can never be too much cake and ice cream and elastic pants!

Lauren's 3rd Birthday - Fun at My Gym

Make a Smilebox slideshow She loved the ball pit...but the best of all for her was the zip cord...she shared it was "just like Diego"...her hero. We also put nail polish on for the first time...actually a strengthener with glitter. Ever since we've been home from China her little nails haven't been the best...but the idea of putting polish on one so young just isn't for me...so I compromised and she was thrilled. And...she's writing her name all by herself - pretty well too I might add!! And finally...no bed-guards anymore...just a big girl bed. That should help with making it...those things were a pain.

Tonight's Good Night from our Maddie was "I'll hold your and Daddy's feelings nice and safe because I love you...and I'll hold my whole family's feelings nice and safe because I love them". And we love you Maddie!!

Happy Bday Rylan & Kael

Make a Smilebox slideshow We can't believe it...Rylan is 10 and Kael is 7. Where does time go?? Kael spent a day with his Papa and Daddy at Ridemakerz...made his own sweet set of wheels. Rylan and I did pedicures/lunch and a movie...2 ladies of luxury and she's so fun to be with. And then a family gathering at Peter Piper Pizza. They both are such neat kids. Hope this coming year is magical for them both!!
